PROLOGUE

Introduction about angels, and angelic government, angelic order and their mission.

CHAPTER I

Two angels of the angelic government were close friends, Zophiel and Seraphiel. Seraphiel from Seraphim likes to go beyond the limits of the authorized relationship between angels, he had watched human beings for quite a lifetime and wondered why such thing called “love” defies all logical reasons, even from the very beginning, way back from the fall of Adam and Eve. He told Zophiel a cherubim of his plans to try if he would fall in love someday. To do so, he has to become a mortal first. He then raised his case to the principalities, and they granted him the freedom to become a mortal in exchange of his powers and immortality, and he was stripped-off of his memories, also  he will be treated as a human being capable of sinning and goodwill. However, Zophiel secretly followed Seraphiel in his journey to the earth, she disguises as a mortal, but later, her predicament was known to the principalities she was then cast-out of the angelic kingdom.

CHAPTER II

While Arvan lived as a mortal and wanders from the different parts of the earth, and work as  archeologist he couldn’t bring to recall his past life. Although at night he has vivid dreams of the celestial beings, he was puzzled everytime he wakes up. In one of his travels he met Elkan the known prophet of the village who lost his son in a war. Elkan knew what was Arvan’s past life, he withheld his tongue and instead told Arvan of his main purpose why he was here. That is to find and experience love. Arvan was thankful to Elkan and he decided to help him find his lost son.

On the other hand, Zophiel was already a mortal the decree of her punishment leave her with her memories intact. She remembers everything too well including Seraphiel. Her goal is to find him and to express her feelings for him since she already has the freedom to do so. Her dilemma started when she recognized the futility of her effort, she doesn’t know where to find Seraphiel and what become of him after the doors of Angelic government closed at his back, she changed her name to Leyoneth since she’s no longer allowed to use her angelic name. While waiting for any chance to meet him, she was taken as a captive by the soldiers of the exiled arabian princess named Jaffa. She was treated as a servant. One of Jaffa’s trusted soldiers was Hyam, he was good with Leyoneth and they become good friends. Hyam told her why Jaffa was so mean its because she was deprived of her  right to the throne by her father, she was dismissed after having a relationship with one of the king’s married generals. Jaffa has a brother name Brighton next to the throne, who send his loyal soldiers to guard her sister. He always find his sister, and in one particular circumstances, he saved Leyoneth from a snake bite. He has his eyes on her, Leyoneth feels the same after losing hope of finding Seraphiel. But Jaffa is against them, she told her brother that he will never be a king unless he will stop himself from loving her servant.

CHAPTER III

Not far from them where Arvan and Elkan camped, Jaffa had already a planned scheme for Leyoneth so she asked her to get a perfume out from the wild flowers of the nearest forest. Jaffa knew that the forest was full of bad spirits and wild beasts so she was certain Leyoneth wouldn’t return alive.

Leyoneth went to the forest alone, nobody knew that the princess has sent her, when she went inside the forest, she keep her pace fast as she could, the wild flowers only blooms at midnight, she reached her destination and hurriedly pick the flowers and started her way back. She was astonished to see a wolf ready to devour her, she run and run wolves following her, she could hear *whoosh* sounds, she couldn’t identify the archer making the targets against the wolves. Out of nowhere someone grabs her, that’s the last thing she had in mind before she went down to unconsiousness.

Hyam was the first to noticed Leyoneth’s disappearance. He asked Jaffa of her whereabouts but Jaffa decline and lied. Hyam searched for her and tracked down, to his disappointment still no sign of her. He decided to informed Brighton, upon learning of it, Brighton organized a search party for Leyoneth, they went to search the forest.

The first thing Leyoneth saw after she regain her consciousness was Arvan’s face. She didn’t expect they would met in such circumstances. Anyhow, she was so hurt to learn that Seraphiel didn’t recognized her at all and later introduce himself as Arvan. She then asked how he happened to save her. Arvan told her that he went out to hunt, when he saw her running for her life. Arvan later introduce Leyoneth to Elkan who provide treatment of her bruises. Leyoneth learned that Arvan had accidentally forgotten his past including what they once shared in heaven.

CHAPTER IV

Brighton dismissed any thought of danger befalls on Leyoneth, he would do anything to find her again, and he would never let her go out of his sight. If he had to sacrificed his crown he would give it up in order to be with her. He will never forgive himself if anything happens to her, he realized how deeply he cared for her. On the other side of the valley, where Arvan and Leyoneth stayed, Elkan went to the mountains to pray. Arvan feels a deep connection with Leyoneth, the first time he saw her lost in the forest he could hear his heart beating so hard. He couldn’t explain the instant change of his behaviour, and he was frustrated for he couldn’t identify what’s wrong with him, why having her near makes him so vulnerable.

Leyoneth experienced the same situation, that they end up avoiding each other as much as possible, she tried to convince herself that its Brighton who she still longs, but why the sudden change of heart? Her decision to leave affects her entire life, since she knew nothing would still be the same, there’s no point on staying when Seraphiel or Arvan, the reason why she lost her immortality and angelic position, is so oblivious of her existence. She just then leave him a letter on his sleep and departs. When the morning came, Brighton and his men arrived at Arvan’s camped, he asked Arvan about Leyoneth, Arvan went to fetch her, but found her gone. Brighton got furious and striked Arvan with his sword, Arvan was quick to dodge the attack and picks a sword and fight back. Brighton’s men watched with awe since both men were skilled with swordmanship. Elkan suddenly interferred their fight and explained to both men that Leyoneth choose to leave and go on with her life. Brighton went back heart-broken, if he only showed her his feelings earlier it wouldn’t end up this way. Arvan was shocked, then Elkan handed him the letter that Leyoneth left for him.

CHAPTER V

Arvan discovered of Leyoneth’s identity after reading the letter, he now understand that the angel who always visit his dream was Leyoneth or Zophiel. That’s why he felt an intense connection towards her, she had given up everything for him. Arvan went to approach Elkan, who was currently talking to a young man, Elkan introduced Hyam telling him he had found his son. Arvan was happy for Elkan, now he should proceed to his journey alone and it’s time for him to find Leyoneth.

Leyoneth went west and rested in a rented apartment, in there she found a celestial visitor ‘Arella’. She was Leyoneth’s friend in the Angelic government, she ask her how she was doing, Leyoneth couldn’t hide her tears of regret, her life was full of suffering and disappointments. Arella then told her that the pricipalities of the Angelic government have been considerate on her case, she will be given another chance to go back and reclaim her immortality once again. Leyoneth was so surprise of the news, she was so tempted to go back of her previous life where she found bliss and happiness. However, Arella warned her that this is her last chance, she was given the opportunity since she remain untouch and lived in accordance to the law of  the heavenly bodies and of the mortals. Arella gave her 3 days to decide her fate. Leyoneth weigh all the possibilities, and all the reasons she have whether to turn back or to stay. That’s when she heard a knock on the door, after she opened it, she saw Arvan standing with open arms, they embraced each other and kissed as if there will be no tomorrow, they spent in each other’s arms for the whole night. No words were expressed at that moment, Arvan finally achieve his heart’s desire and feels readily contended with Leyoneth, while on her part she waited for the words that would complete her intense longing which never came. Again for the second time she was greatly disappointed.

CHAPTER VI

Leyoneth left Arvan for a while on his sleep, she went to the beach to unwind and to decide what she would do with her life. She had a long walk on the sea shore it was almost sunrise, she felt at peace then someone suddenly invade her private moment, her captor carry her on his back at the same time she struggles. She was being carried in a secluded area, then he reveal himself to her, Leyoneth least expected Brighton’s presence, for she thought he was now the crowned king and indeed, now that he had the power to amend the rules of the royalties and of his people, he is much ready to offer her marriage which he fail to propose to her many months ago for fear of disappointing his father the king. Leyoneth just seat very still, she’s having difficulty in internalizing what Brighton had said, it seems her life now was far more complicated than before, is this really the way of life here on earth?

Arvan wondered where Leyoneth had went, he just assume maybe she’s on the beach that’s when he heard a distant scream, fear enveloped in him. He tried to find her and then he saw her with the man he once had a sword fight with, jealousy overcame him, he directly confronted them, what he feels right now was like a boiling inferno, Brighton anticipated his attack both of them endured the duel of love. Leyoneth tried to stop them the best way she could, but they continue smashing each other’s faces, she feels so guilty and responsible of what had taken place, and she felt crying though she never ceased in telling them to stop, finally when both men got exhausted of the fight Leyoneth was so angry already and left both of them. Brighton asked Arvan what was his relationship with Leyoneth, he told him that Leyoneth was he’s life and he’ll do anything for her happiness, then he asked Brighton the same question Brighton told him that Leyoneth was the one he had waited all his life the rightful queen beside his throne, Arvan was surprise to learned that Brighton was a king. Brighton told Arvan he could offer Leyoneth a great life over him, Arvan understood but he just couldn’t give her up now, he had gone so far, and so many questions left unsaid. Brighton just then said that if both of them couldn’t bear to give up on Leyoneth then it’s time for her to choose who’s the better man.

CHAPTER VII

2^nd day of the alotted time of Leyoneth’s decision to enter angelic life again. Her logical senses are debating against her heart, should she stick to the easiest choice or dwell on the uncertainty? She thought everything will be okay after Arvan showed up and more surprisingly when Brighton showed up but the real problem was herself, she ought to seek advice and there’s one person who could help her. Elkan. Just when Leyoneth departed, the two men came Arvan and Brighton they’re too eager in besting each other, but Leyoneth was nowhere to be found so they decided to wait for her.

Elkan and Hyam were back on the near village when they saw Leyoneth walking over their house. Hyam is so happy to see her again, Leyoneth share the same sentiment, Elkan knew why she’s here. After Hyam and Leyoneth talked Elkan lead her to the river back of their house there they beseated at the rocks beside the waters, Elkan told her that everything she’s under going as of this moment are all trials which human struggle everyday, since she’s now one of that race she also carry the burden. However this trials aren’t left unrewarded, for the greatest gift is to obtained love and to be loved in return and everything are worthy to live for. Sorrow and grief are a common feelings men and women deal with, if she will choose to live her previous life she will never know the fulfillment of her sacrifice then she’ll forget everything that had taken place, but if she’ll choose to stay nothing comes easy but with love its worth sharing the burden. The heart can fully determine who she want to spend her life with. Leyoneth was more confused, but Elkan told her to face her fear and know the truth first before she’ll understand. She went home and there she settled the two men, she told them she doesn’t want to bring them heartaches so it’s better if they’ll separate ways.

Brighton left immediately, Arvan wanted to stay longer but Leyoneth told him to leave her alone. Arvan couldn’t think clearly, he walks down to the beach until he reach the high level waters he doesn’t care anymore, this would be his first time to taste death. When his end was near, bright light shone upon him and he was lift up out in the water.

CHAPTER VIII

Arella saved Arvan from drowning, after Arvan gained consciousness Arella told him that the principalities have been considerate of his case, they offered him another chance to go back on his previous life since he’s been a good individual during his mortal dwelling. Arella restore Arvan’s memory, then he was convinced to go back. On an instant, Arvan was transformed as Seraphiel, Leyoneth saw the light and went to check it, there she saw Seraphiel with his restored glory with Arella, she asked what happened, Arella told her that Seraphiel will return to the angelic government. Before the incident happened Leyoneth has decided to stay, and worked things out with Arvan, now it was far too late, Arvan turn his back on love. Seraphiel upon seeing Leyoneth filled with much regret reach out to her but she draw back, Arella stop her, now that Seraphiel made his choice its her chance to do same. Leyoneth declined she had decided to stay behind, and started walking back to her apartment, she found Brighton standing waiting for her to explain everything. Which she willingly did so, Brighton listened earnestly after that he offered Leyoneth his love and marriage, Leyoneth asked for a reasonable time to decide, and Brighton granted her request. Seraphiel and Arella went to the Angelic Government, he was accepted back, however Seraphiel requested to become Leyoneth’s guardian angel.

Leyoneth and Brighton spend time together, and their love was renewed, Seraphiel witness their affection, and ask himself why did he decide so impulsively now its too late if only he could bring back the time. Leyoneth married Brighton, they live happily until news of war against their kingdom spread, Jaffa has declared a war against her brother, Brighton had to leave Leyoneth to join the war. Seraphiel was determined to take care of Leyoneth even though she’s not aware of his presence. When the war began, Leyoneth found out that she was pregnant. Seraphiel was always there for her, when the war was over, Brighton was missing. Jaffa was still on the loose.

The principalities called Seraphiel’s attention, in his absence Jaffa secretly sneaked inside the palace, Jaffa tried to kill Leyoneth both women fight, Leyoneth prayed for help Jaffa was so strong she feared for her life and the baby, Jaffa pushed her in the terrace, Leyoneth was able to keep hold but she’s getting weary, Brighton appeared and fight his wild sister Leyoneth couldn’t hold on anymore, she fall from the terrace Seraphiel was able to catch her in perfect timing.

CHAPTER IX

When Leyoneth woke up, she saw that Brighton was sitting beside her bed and ask him who saved her from falling. Brighton just told her that it was pure miracle for he saw her fall down, but the way he saw it it was like Leyoneth was flying. Leyoneth’s heart skip a beat, she tried to feel Seraphiel’s presence. Seraphiel was just near them silently observing his gaze never left Leyoneth and with some unexplain connection Leyoneth stared back at him, in an instant he’s gone.

Seraphiel asked the principalities how come Leyoneth had sense his aura when mortals shouldn’t have the capacity, they told him that mortals who have a pure hearts will be able to perceived celestial beings like them in most desperate times. Leyoneth still couldn’t apprehend that Seraphiel saved their life, so he’s just around and will always be around. Brighton was delighted of Leyoneth’s news to him that they will be having a baby. After a few months, Leyoneth gave birth to a baby girl and she named her ‘Eyon breeze’, she didn’t noticed something was in Eyon’s back. Seraphiel was amazed of Leyoneth’s daughter. Brighton held a great celebration in the Arabian Palace. Many years had passed

Eyon grew to be a beautiful lady, the sad part is that Leyoneth wasn’t able to live long enough to see her daughter she got struck with illness. Seraphiel waited for her in heaven. Her soul went back to the creator. When Eyon reached 18 yrs.old, something terrible happened. She was in great pain, Brighton called all the best doctors in the world but nobody can detect what’s wrong with Eyon, her back aches so badly. Eyon later discovered that wings are growing in her back, she was so afraid of her present situation.

CHAPTER X

Eyon search on her mother’s belongings and she found her personal journal, she recognized that her mom was an angel before, but she was made mortal, why she has wings growing on her back? She decided to left and look for answers and her mother had specificallty mentioned the name Elkan. She left a letter to her father and went out to set her journey. Eyon went east there she met Thunder who saved her from his fellow thugs, he go with her in finding Elkan, even though both of them always disagree, Thunder always see to it that Eyon is safe. One morning he went to search for her and found her bathing in a nearby falls, he saw her wings and directly ask what happened to her. Eyon cried and explained that’s the reason why she has to find Elkan to know the answers. They keep it as a secret, Eyon can already control how to hide her wings she told Thunder that maybe she should practice how to fly to make use of them. Thunder was hesistant first but Eyon was persistent so he finally give in, few attempts made Eyon’s body fall of pains and bruises, Thunder’s enemies found out Eyon’s secret when Thunder went to hunt and to buy some supplies, they kidnap Eyon. They force her to fly but Eyon was stubborn to obey their commands, she secretly prayed for help and for Thunder to find her soon. Thunder found them and break the necks of the enemies but they’re too many Seraphiel help them out. Seraphiel gave Eyon a map on where to find Elkan to make their journey easier, and he taught her how to fly. Thunder cannot see Seraphiel so he find it weird when he saw Eyon talking alone.  Thunder was awaken with the thrashing of the wind, he saw Eyon flappind her wings Eyon invited him to fly with her, but Thunder turn down the invitation he told her that he will still go with her but he will ride his motorcycle.

One night, while they were sitting in the camp fire. Eyon asked Thunder about his life, he told her he was not a saint and committed crimes beyond her imagination, but he didn’t know exactly that there’s still goodness left on him after he met her. He look and told her sincerely that she was the closest to heaven that he’ll ever find. The following morning, Thunder felt something heavy on top of him, he was surprise to find Eyon her face so close to him that he was almost tempted to touch her lips with his, before he could Eyon woke up and smiled at him, his heart melt. His reaction was fast and he kissed her Eyon was so stunned to response he was carressing her passionately, when Thunder realized what he was doing he abruptly stop and left immediately.

CHAPTER XI

Thunder hated himself for the deed but couldn’t deny he deliberately enjoy the moment, Eyon is different from the women he used to bed and reminded himself that she’s not yet a woman in the first place. She’s his angel sent to him to change him for goodness sake, he should not touch her in any manner as of the moment he may do so in the near future which will particularly depend on Eyon. He went back to Eyon, seeing her lips swollen from his kisses made him tense. Eyon sense Thunder’s behaviour, she then told him he was good at kissing and she don’t doubt that women would sell their souls for his mere attention. Eyon was still talking when Thunder saw an old man behind Eyon’s back, it was Elkan. Elkan introduced himself he said he knew that Leyoneth’s daughter was looking for him. His son Hyam got married with the maiden in the village, that’s why he takes time to see them and know their concern.

Eyon asked Elkan why is it she has wings if her biological parents were humans, she’s also aware that her mother used to be an angel. Elkan told her that the reason she has wings because there was still a trace of angelic blood in her mother that was passed to her and if she wish to live as human the wings are just temporary, the moment she will submit herself to any man the wings will automatically vanished. Eyon stared at Thunder, Elkan then narrated that Thunder’s presence wasn’t coincidence. Elkan left them afterwards. Thunder finally admitted that he was her bethrothed, Brighton send him to find his missing and only daughter whom he’s going to marry someday, Eyon could hardly understand Thunder continued explaining he told her that his father and Brighton were good friends Thunder’s father owned Thunder Sioux Power Corporation the largest power corporation in the world which was later given to him after his father died. Thunder was against with their arranged marriage so he decided to wander and live as he please even part as a thug that time he knew her through saving her against his fellow thugs, he wasn’t even aware that she was the one bethrothed to him since he haven’t seen her yet, he just found out when he went into town and Eyon’s father who send a messenger informing him that his bethrothed was missing. That’s when he began to suspect Eyon was the one.

CHAPTER XII

Eyon was dumbfounded Thunder reached for her hand and told her it’s time for them to go home. Both of them were silent nobody wanted to speak, Thunder brought her to his home to rest and from there he will contact her father to fetch her. Thunder was filthy rich he request his servants to see Eyon’s needs. He went to his room and he’ll just contact Brighton tomorrow, he want to spent a little time with Eyon but he didn’t bother her since she was still bloody mad at him. Thunder had a dream he was dreaming that Eyon was beside him touching gently his face and give him a kiss she seem so real, he could feel her beneath him she smiled at him and like a blink of an eye she vanished. Thunder awaken, he went to check Eyon on her room, and there he found her sleeping so soundly, could he love her now? Why does he feels this way, as if he was so afraid to lose her, he was never afraid to lose anything before. Eyon felt his presence and ask him is there anything wrong? Thunder just nod his head Eyon assess him if he was in pain, and he said he’ll be fine, it’s just temporary insanity.

Brighton went to fetch Eyon the following day, and demanded Thunder to marry his daughter, Thunder obliged, but on their wedding day, Eyon was missing again. Everything were ready Brighton is getting tense and ordered his men to search Eyon, Thunder do his own search. Eyon was flying in the sky far from everything she wasn’t sure if she want to live as human maybe her angelic blood was much stronger. Up in the clouds she stared back and saw Thunder riding a motorcycle with his tuxedo, she was certain she felt something for him but she’s also afraid that Thunder doesn’t share the same feelings, last night when he went to her chamber she was hoping Thunder would confess his love for her but was hurt when he said it was just temporary insanity. Seraphiel saw her, Eyon couldn’t believe who she was seeing, Seraphiel told her of his side of story he let his pain get in the way that’s why it’s easy for him to surrender his love for Leyoneth, he told Eyon to consider what she really want and choose what makes her happy, but if she choose to live in her mother’s previous race she will be welcomed as a cherubim. Eyon bravely asked Seraphiel if he has any notion that maybe she was his daughter? Seraphiel was shocked, Eyon then explained that her mother left a diary stating their encounter on the night Arvan went to see her mother in an apartment. Seraphiel faced Eyon and told her that he would be honored to have a daughter like her but nothing happened to them during that time Eyon still belonged to Brighton.

CHAPTER XIII

Thunder reached the end of the forest he was standing in the cliff, he was so angry with himself, for not telling Eyon how he love her, now she went away, he shout her name raising his head to the heavens asking them to give Eyon back to him. Still no sign of her, when he was about to shout again he was out balance and fall from the cliff, he was sure he’ll be dead, Eyon saw him and tried to save him, but she’s still new to flying and Thunder was some what heavy for her, both of them crashed in the sea, and she doesn’t know how to swim.Thunder swim to her, Eyon had collapsed when they reached the shore, Thunder did his best to restore her breathing, out of desperate condition he told her she can’t die not when he wasn’t able to tell her how much she means in his world.

Eyon was so happy hearing those words from Thunder, now she didn’t regret her decision in coming back. Thunder hug her and they kissed. Brighton’s men found them and brought them to the palace, Brighton was so anxious to know what happened but they didn’t told him the exact details, Eyon’s secret is safe with Thunder.

On the other hand Leyoneth visit Seraphiel in the Angelic hall, they began to talk about what went wrong between them Seraphiel then said that having a human heart affects his senses in decision making. He ask him why did she married Brighton, she answered that he claims that he loves her, having a human heart within her affects her senses to reason out and resort to the one who can offer security, she felt that if she will go back to being an angel they will never fulfill their purpose for romantic affair was greatly discourage in heaven. She was glad that her daughter Eyon had made the right choice by following her heart.

CHAPTER XIV

It was Thunder and Eyon’s wedding day, the preparation was glamorous and everything were set in perfect order, VIP’s were invited Brighton welcomed the guests, sponsors and their immediate relatives. The banquets were full of food, wines were overflowing. Eyon was ready and nervous, she has difficulty in hiding her wings, this typically goes out when she feels unrelaxed, threaten and too excited.  The maidens keep on knocking on her door, asking her to come down for the celebration will about to start. Thunder’s smile faded when he saw Ovelore and wondered what what she doing in here. He grab her and send her out because she was not among the invited guests, Ovelore just laughed at him telling him that she was an escort of Mr. Lwing, and she knows something worthy of everyone’s interests, Thunder felt a pit in his stomach he cannot easily disregard her, he warned her to stay away from their lives, Ovelore seductively approached him and told him she will have a part on it.

Thunder search for Eyon but couldn’t find her, then the wedding planner lead him to the main ceremonial of the wedding his mind was still whirling of Ovelore’s returned he knew she’s up to something.Then the wedding ceremony began. There was a parade first and then, there he saw the most beautiful girl he ever laid on his eyes, Eyon dressed in a wedding garments eyes sparkled with love for him. She marched with the king Brighton and everyone were mesmerized, then the king handed the princess to him, the minister started and pour them the blessings as a married couple before he could kissed the bride, Ovelore stand up and announced to the congregation that Eyon was a freak, Eyon was suddenly so afraid she weren’t able to control her wings, Thunder protected her, the king was so furious out of embarrassment and ordered his men to arrest Thunder and Eyon, before they could harm them Seraphiel and a choir of angels appeared. Seraphiel stopped the king he transformed himself back as Arvan, Brighton was surprise to see Arvan, he explained to Brighton that Leyoneth was loyal to the king and she didn’t bring him shame, Eyon was his daughter. It just happened that she still inherited mysteriously some part of her mother’s previous life. But that will be gone the moment their marriage will be consumated. And if there’s one person he should bestow with punishment it would be Ovelore for harming his daughter’s reputation.

CHAPTER XV

Ovelore made her escaped after her announcement, but was later seized by the king’s army.she was thrown in the dungeons. Brighton apologized to his daughter and to Thunder for his impulsive reactions, they accepted. After they were married again in a simple wedding ceremony Thunder and Eyon went to their honeymoon, before Thunder claim her he asked her again if she is already certain in giving up the other part of her, Eyon eagerly kissed him instead. And Eyon’s flying days was over. She was now 100% Thunder’s woman. And they stayed together through out the years. Just like every fairy tale tells at the end of the story, and they live happily ever after.
